Manual Handling, MSK & Fatigue Risk Management

Traditional manual handling training often focuses on compliance. We focus on behaviour under pressure.

7Futures designs highly engaging learning experiences across traditional health and safety areas, with a focus on practical behaviour change.

Over the past 14 years, we have supported safety-critical organisations to reduce musculoskeletal (MSK) risk, strengthen manual handling standards, and improve fatigue awareness, including for shift-based teams.

What We Deliver

Four complementary formats designed for frontline operational environments.

A scenario-based, team-driven workshop that turns manual handling into applied behavioural practice. Participants work through realistic challenges that strengthen planning, communication and safe load control under pressure.

Manual Handling Assault Course

An interactive session addressing one of the most common workplace risks. Combines hazard recognition, balance control and decision-making to reduce preventable incidents.

Mind Your Step – Slips, Trips & Falls

Practical movement-led sessions focused on reducing strain risk and improving load management. Builds posture awareness, bracing control and movement consistency for physically demanding roles.

MSK & Physical Capacity Workshop

Evidence-informed education and practical tools to improve alertness, recovery and safer decision-making across long days and night shifts.

Fatigue & Sleep for Shift Teams

Our approach

We work in safety-critical environments where physical capability, alertness and decision-making directly influence risk. Our programmes are grounded in science and best practice but delivered in a practical, direct and operationally realistic way.

We focus on behaviour change, not just information, ensuring that learning transfers back to site. All sessions are designed to fit around operational delivery, with minimal disruption and maximum relevance.
