Within our busy lives many of us ask ourselves the question, “should I bother exercising today?” What we should really be saying to ourselves is, “what sort of exercise should I do today.”
Getting our bodies moving is a critical part of wellbeing. Exercise helps ward off illness and disease. It strengthens our immune system and helps it to function. Exercise elevates our mood, can soothe lower back pain, can excite our bodies, relax our bodies, help us to sleep better and help us live longer. It is not surprising that some enlightened doctors are prescribing exercise as medicine to their patients.
In this session you will learn:
practical tips on how to include exercise in your life
how to choose what type of exercise is right for you today
why a 30 min walk is so good for your health
how to get started with no equipment, gym membership or lycra
