 Where possible they recommend the use of public transport. The number 66 bus runs regularly from York Station to the JB Morrell library and a taxi rank is just outside the station. They have a free phone taxi phone in reception and advise booking taxis in advance.

 Please note their postcode YO10 5DD is for the University – if you’re using a satnav, enter Siwards Way (street name) or look for signs for the North Campus car park.

 Parking – The North campus car park is located infront of the National STEM Learning Centre. This is a pay and display carpark and costs £1 per hour or £6 for the day (free 18:00 – 8:00). It can get extremely busy during term time so we advise arriving early to get a space - although if arriving late afternoon on 22nd there shoudn't be so much of a problem.

 You can pay at the machine (a change machine is located at our reception) or using the RingGo app.

Travel

If travelling by train please book advance train fares where possible and as soon as possible. Please let Nicola know the cost at time of booking and please keep receipts. 

If travelling by car 7Futures will pay an allowance of 40p a mile - please try to car share where possible.

Rooms reserved on Tuesday 22 May at Franklin House (located just behind the National STEM Learning Centre).

To collect your room key, please go to Alcuin College Reception which is open 24 hours and located close to the National STEM Learning Centre and your accommodation.

You can deposit your key at the National STEM Learning Centre reception (manned 8:00 – 17:00). Our receptionist will also be able to give you a key to the left luggage room for any bags.

Breakfast is included and served 7:30 – 9:00 in Quarks restaurant (opposite your accommodation).
You can use your room key to enter.
