How are you… Really?
31st October 2024
As part of our commitment to support positive staff wellbeing and the benefits it can bring to the organisation and those we work with, we are pleased to announce ‘How are you… Really?’ an event led by specialists at 7Futures.
Sessions on the day are designed to support you as an individual and as a team. They include:
Healthy Habits - Sleep
This session covers the critical role of sleep in daily performance and wellbeing. Learn about the science behind sleep and helpful tools and tips to help reduce fatigue and improve the quality of your sleep.
Healthy Habits - Nutrition and Caffeine
Explore how to improve nutrition and hydration habits for better energy management, reduced fatigue and guidelines on the productive use of caffeine. Evidence-backed expert advice to optimise daily performance for all ages and locations.

Tailored for all fitness levels, this session focuses on combating sedentary lifestyles and building in short effective routines for those short on time and also on space (on ships/stations).
Find Your Zen
A lot of stress is social stress. Our relationships at work (in and between teams) and outside of work can create worry, fatigue and sometimes a loss of psychological safety. Discover the unconscious relationship we all experience between co-regulation and self-regulation. What does this mean and what tools can we use to manage both effectively to find more calm, enjoyment and a sense of emotional safety?
High Performing Teams and Collaboration
An interactive discussion on the challenges of building team culture and fostering collaboration across different environments. Learn how high-performing teams succeed through shared values and effective communication. This will include plenty of time to ask questions of someone who has helped build/support high performing individuals and teams at 4 Olympic Games and 5 Rugby World Cups. It doesn't always go right!
Musculoskeletal Workshop
A practical workshop focusing on countering the effects of sedentary lifestyles and becoming older!. Do you know what your fascia is and how you need to look after it? Learn gentle exercises and movements to restore functional movement, reduce stiffness and pain and prevent unnecessary physical decline.
The 7Futures team will also be offering a range of health metrics that can help monitor and improve overall wellbeing from cardiovascular health to muscle strength. These include:
