Musculoskeletal Health

Mobility and Proprioception

Maintaining mobility and honing proprioception (the body’s spatial awareness and sense of movement) is crucial for enhancing coordination, preventing injuries, improving safety and maximising overall physical performance

Safe Lifting

Improve how people lift, load, and push heavy objects safely. Increase core strength and mobility. Implementing the biomechanics and science behind Olympic weightlifting techniques to reduce stress, vulnerability and pressure on the body.

Back Care

Sitting for prolonged periods and manual handling places a lot of stress on the body and increases the risk of injury. This workshop will explore back pain, injury, anatomy, injury prevention and self-care.

Importance of Exercise

Interactive session showcasing exercise's importance for health and workplace safety. Resistance-based exercise improves quality of life, mobility, and reduces injury risk. Accessible to all skill levels, with minimal inexpensive equipment, which can be performed at home or on the road.

Health Assessments

Body Composition

Body weight alone is not a good indicator of body composition. The analysis provides an on-the- spot printout of vital body measures including; body fat, lean muscle mass, visceral fat, metabolic age, bone mass and hydration. These are vital measures to support the reduction of risks of musculoskeletal health issues and injury, including sarcopenia (muscle loss, which is prevalent as we age).

Antioxidant Scanning

The Biophotonic Scanner quickly measures carotenoid skin levels, reflecting your diet quality. Carotenoids, found in colourful fruits and vegetables, and spices, protect against diseases, premature ageing, heart issues and enhance immunity.

Grip Strength

An indicator of overall muscle strength, as we lose muscle mass and strength as we age (sarcopenia). Grip strength also correlates with heart health and mental health.

Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is one of the most important health measures you can do because of the high incidence in our society of heart disease and strokes. High blood pressure often presents no or few symptoms and is one reason why heart attacks are called the silent killer.

Musculoskeletal Assessments

Assessing stability, coordination, mobility, strength and range of motion. These measures can help assess the possibility of future injuries, and poor recovery from past injuries and identify any abnormalities which may help diagnose current causes of pain (group session).

Physical Therapy MSK Assessments

1-2-1, checking musculoskeletal health through assessing injuries and pain with hands-on therapy.

Soft Tissue Therapy

1-2-1 hands-on soft tissue therapy to help release any tight muscle spots and help relieve any injuries.
